Flight Information • Southwest Airlines • Thursday, January 17 Flight 874 Departs Midway 6:30 PM • Arrives LAX 9:20 PM • Monday, January 21 Flight 1806 Departs LAX 4:30 PM • Arrives Midway 10:20 PM • You are allowed: • 2 checked bags (free!) each under 50 pounds • 1 carry on – 10” x 16” x 24” • 1 personal items bag (purse, small backpack) Remember – you have to carry your own bags 

Day One – Thursday, January 17 Morning Drop off Luggage by Choir Room 2:00 PM Meet in Choir Room Pick up Luggage Can leave backpack at school – don’t forget to get anything you may need on tour! 2:30 PM Depart for Midway Airport 6:30 PM Depart for Los Angeles 9:20 PM Arrive Los Angeles Board Buses 10:30 PM Arrive at hotel Pizza Party Debrief for next day Security on Duty

  6. Travel Times – Welcome to Los Angeles! We need to plan for heavy traffic to make it to appointments on time. 1 hour? 2 hours? 30 minutes?

  7. Day Two – Friday, January 18 – DISNEYLAND! 7:00 Breakfast 8:00 Depart 9:00 Arrive Disneyland Park Hopper Pass allows access to both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure! Lunch - pay on own 1:30 Choir Performance Dinner - $20 Voucher Card Provided Continue Disney Fun after dinner! 10:00 Board Coaches 11:00 Return to Hotel - Security on Duty

  9. Day Three – Saturday, January 19th – HOLLYWOOD! 7:00 Breakfast 8:00 Depart 10:00 Hollywood Hills Hike! Hollywood Sign, Hollywood History, Griffith Park Wear appropriate clothing – check weather – closed toe shoes Picnic Lunch Provided 2:30 Hollywood Walking Tour Walk of Fame, Red Carpet, and more! 4:00 Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum 6:00 Dinner at Hard Rock Café 8:00 Wicked! At the Pantages Theatre 11:30 Return to hotel – Security on duty

  10. Day Four– Sunday, January 20 – UNIVERSAL STUDIOS! 7:00 Breakfast 8:00 Depart 9:00 Arrive Universal Studios Hollywood! Studio Tour! Harry Potter! King Kong! Lunch on own 7:00 Board coaches 8:00 Dinner at Bubba Gump at Santa Monica Pier Free time on Pier (as time allows) 10:00 Board coaches 10:30 Return to hotel – Security on Duty

Day Five – Monday, January 21 7:30 Breakfast Check out of hotel 8:30 Depart 10:00 Choir Clinic at USC Lunch – on own 2:00 Depart for Airport Dinner or snacks at Airport – $10 Provided 4:30 Flight Departs LAX 10:20 Flight Arrives Midway Board Motor Coaches 11:00 Approximate Arrival at GBN – Sing “The Loyalty Song” and remember a great trip with friends!

What to Pack – Check the weather! • A rain coat or rain poncho(s) • Sturdy shoes for hike • Layers • All of your items for the performance! • Concert attire • cummerbund, tie, shoes, jewelry, etc. • Toiletries, pajamas, medicine • Extra pair of shoes/socks • Spending Money – 3 lunches and 1 dinner ($15 per meal) Don’t forget to follow 3-1-1 Guidelines for liquids in your carry-on! Bring your Photo ID! Don’t pack medications in your checked bag!
