  2. Food • Guatemala does not have a national dish. They drink coffee and eat fresh cherries, chicken in pineapple sauce. No cook salsa is like a salad, Vig is like an eggplant, Todos Santos (taccos).

  3. Languages • Official languages are Spanish and Mayan dialects.

  4. CLOTHING • Bracelets are made from colourful thread, and they mean friendship. Clothes are green like the rainforest, red and orange are like lava. Men and boys wore white cow boy hats, cow boy shirt, boots and jeans. Women wore a colourful blouse called a Huipil and a long skirt called a Corte.

  5. Location • Guatemala is a country in Central America. It is near Mexico, Belize, Honduras and El Salvador.

  6. Jobs • In Guatemala there are different kinds of jobs . A few of the jobs there are: A Coffee plantation worker, stock farming where you would stack hay into a pile, cattle ranchers, and Fisherman and oil refiners.

  7. Climate • In Guatemala they have tropical, hot low lands and cool highlands.

  8. School/Education • Most Guatemalans attend school between the ages of five and fifteen.

  9. Entertainment/Games • They play various sports, also they do water sports such as, swimming, water skiing, snorkeling boating and fishing. Mountain climbing is another pasttime. Some others are cycling, horseback riding, and bird watching.
