  3. some professors ask us what we thought of the readings we rarely answer.

  4. to make sure we reflect on the readings before class, professors often assign short essays

  5. sometimes i have lots to write. i get excited about sharing my ideas.

  6. sadly, this rarely happens

  7. blogs can solve this (and other) problems

  8. blogs are not limited to writing

  9. Instead, blogs are part of a network

  10. this network lets me share my ideas and build on the ideas of others

  11. casssunstein suggests that blogs might provide better flows of information

  12. ericbeinhocker thinks that blogs might help our ideas evolve

  13. yochaibenkler says that blogs can help us participate in the public sphere
