Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, trained in the rigorous, diverse tradition of European goldsmiths, in which jewelry is fabricated from “scratch” (with sheet and wire) versus the free form wax casting predominant in the United States today. Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural background of Europe, he became especially interested in traditional chain making and has developed his own style, working in high carat gold and platinum.

6. Linda combines her training as an artist with her deep understanding of ancient jewelry making techniques to create one-of-a-kind wearable art. Each piece is as unique as the woman who wears it. Understated luxury and old-world sparkle come through in her designs and chosen materials. Linda seeks out stones which are cut as they were centuries ago and prefers when the high karat gold she uses, bears the hallmarks and glow of  everyday wear. 

9. Nancy Troske is trained in ancient jewelry making techniques such as enameling, granulation, and chain making. She takes her inspiration from ancient designs and imbues her pieces with a modern sensibility. Her process of stone selection, metal work, and hand granulation respects the origins of this craft, which began in the third millennium B.C. 

12. All the jewelry of Studio22k is hand fabricated using 3000+ year old techniques of ancient Mesopotamian cultures. Creating the look and feel of treasures by the use of Fusing, Granulation, Filigree, Repousse’, Chasing and Forging made in high karat 22k, 20k gold.
