  1. A SHORT GUIDE TO KNOW ALL ABOUT TO STUDY MBBS IN CHINA Most of the students have a dream of becoming a doctor. But the entrance examinations are getting  tougher day by day due to less number govt. Seats and increasing aspirants. Higher fees of some  institution are also a major factor why MBBS aspirants are heading towards abroad. In that case,  MBBS in China can be a good option as the fees are very much affordable and also many medical  universities in China are approved by Medical Council of India. Here some reasons are listed for  choosing ​to ​study MBBS in China​.     WHY CHINA?    Each university in China has allocated a certain number of seats for international students. To  study MBBS in China​, China has about 100 seats in each university approved by MCI. The  admission procedure is based on merit and is done on a first come first serve basis. Getting  admission in China is easy, quick and with minimum qualifying marks. Fee starts from 2.5 lacs in  most of the medical universities in China. MBBS in China is taught in English, so language is not a  barrier here. Many govt. Universities in China encourage students by providing quality international  education. They run programs to establish international study relationship. It works in collaboration 

  2. with scientific research institutes, medical universities and medical schools in Britain, USA,  Australia, Germany, Japan, and France.     REMEMBER SOME POINTS:    MCI does not provide approval for all the universities, colleges, and institute in China. Every year  medical council of India issues the list of approved universities to ​study MBBS in China​.​ So it is  required to inquire about the approved universities through the MCI website. MCI accreditation is a  must for medical practice in India. Some students fail to get admission due to lack of proper  planning. So before applying to study in China, make sure to go through the instructions mentioned  in university websites and get all the documents ready.     ELIGIBILITY    Minimum aggregate marks for qualification varies with universities. However other criteria are  almost the same and very simple.  ● Students must be minimum 17years old and a maximum of 26 years old.  Candidate must have a valid NEET-UG scorecard.  ● Applicants abide by laws of China (In the international quota)  ● Students must provide certificates to authenticate their eligibility to ​study MBBS in  ● China​.     DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:    ● Mark sheets and certificate of class 10.  Mark sheet and certificate of class 12  ● School transfer certificate, conduct certificate, School leaving certificate  ● Passport copies  ● Application forms  ● Intimation letter if any  ● No criminal record certificate  ●

So get informed well for requirements before  applying for admission in China.     MBBS CURRICULUM IN CHINA:    Chinese universities have a curriculum of 6 years for MBBS course. Those who want to ​study  MBBS in China​ have to go through two phases. First, is classroom education for five years and the  other one is internship training for one year. Internship in China is valid in India, so there is no need  for Indians to do an internship in India. Students also have an option for skipping an internship in  China. However, they have to pass the MCI screening test.     FEES AND LIFESTYLE    China is the favorite destination for many due to its low cost and quality education. Fee starts from  INR 2.5 lacs per annum. Education in China is also subsidized by the ministry of health of the govt.  of China. So there are some scholarship programs to assist students in ​studying MBBS in China​.  Top medical colleges in China provide security with great career prospects in the economic budget.  Apart from that Chinese universities offer students a comfortable and enjoyable student life.  China’s geography facilitates 4 season weather. In a multicultural environment in China, students  learn and settle in with ease. Chinese community promotes peace and harmony that provides good  public security to foreign students.     CONCLUSION:    Some MCI approved medical universities in China are Nanchang University, Nanfang Medical  University, Southern Medical University, Luzhou Medical College, Dali University, Jinan University,  Guangzhou and more. The students have various options to ​study MBBS in China ​but should be  aware of the standard set by MCI before choosing it. Education in China is treated on the utmost  priority in the country. So they do not compromise with the quality of education. China is a favorite  destination among medical aspirants as the country allows travel, tourism, education and  multicultural exposure to students.
