It borders with Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia and it has about two million inhabitants - The capital city is Ljubljana which lies in the largest basinof the country - Despite its size it has a variety of landscapes: from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea and the Subpannonian region

  2. - Slovenia is also famous for having numerous successful athletes in many different disciplines like: • athletics (Primož Kozmus, Aljaž Pegan) • skiing (Tina Maze) • hockey (Anže Kopitar) • rowing (Iztok Čop, Luka Špik)…

  3. - We have some unique tourist attractions: • Postojna Cave, the best-known cave in the world with already 35 million visitors •  Lipica, known for its Stud Farm, the origin of the Lipizzan horse • Bled with its glacial Lake Bled and its small island

  4. - Some of our tipical food includes: • Prekmurje gibanica • Jota • Bled kremšnita • Karst prosciutto • Potica - After our meals we like to have a glass of good wine like: refošk, cviček and teran (red), malvazija and haložan (white)
