WHAT IS AN INTERVAL? The distance between 2 notes. The same thing as a tone or a semitone except you can move more than a tone… Use the virtual keyboard and start on C to show what intervals are. QUESTION: Why do you need to know Intervals?
INTERVALS YOU NEED TO KNOW The good news is that in the listening exam you only have to know 4 intervals. So, when I was at school I came up with a way of figuring these intervals out when I heard them so that’s what we’re gonna do now!
