Why Should I join? • Being an active member provides opportunities that you may not otherwise have a chance to participate in. • It’s up to you how much time you want to put into it, but the more you put into it the more you get out of it. • Phi Theta Kappa is a great asset for scholarship applications and resumes! • Employers look for involvement and leadership experience.

Enhanced Membership Program This program was revised in 2011 to reward members for their participation. • Enhanced membership starts from orientation/induction and ends at the close of the semester • Need at least 30 hours of service • Participate in 2 Phi Theta Kappa events • Attend at least one general meeting (we have one each month; 4 meetings in a semester)
Enhanced Membership Rewards • A gift each semester you are an enhanced member: • 1st semester name plaque • 2nd semester stole and tassel • 3rd and beyond-gift card to PTK store • Enhanced member certificate signed by chapter president and advisor • Letter of recommendation from chapter advisor • Enhanced member banquet
