Brief • Target: Children ages 7 to 16 and parents of children these ages • Key message: Adventureland is a place where imagination becomes reality and you can spice up your summer • Support: AdventurelandAmusement Park contains over 100 rides, shows, and attractions including some of the country's most exciting roller coasters and thrill rides that can challenge the most avid amusement park enthusiasts. Teen Characters • Uninterested teen keeps getting asked to do things with his parents • Continually turns them down • Parents begin to ask ridiculous nonsense questions to see if he is paying attention, he isn’t • Mention Adventureland and he starts off uninterested then it clicks and he gets excited • Parents get an “I love you.”

  4. Woman Character • Talks about how Adventureland is a place for all types of people • Mention rides for little ones • Mention rides for thrill seekers • Mention the waterpark for those who want to relax

  5. Kids Radio Spot • Announcer: “That time of year where the kids are home all day, every day is back.” • Little boy: “Mom, I’m bored.” • Little girl: “Mom, it’s hot.” • *Ripping noise followed by water sounds* Little boy: “Mom Rufus ate the pool again.” • Kids in unison: “Mom, mom, mom, mom.” • *Record scratch* • Announcer: “I know just what they need, a trip to Adventureland! You can relax in our lazy river while the little ones play in Kokomo Cove. Come to Adventureland in Des Moines, Iowa. Adventureland where your imagination becomes reality.”

  6. Rides Radio Spot • Man: “Afraid of a boring summer? Come ride spinning ocean waves. Fight some pirates *swords clashing together*. Conquer the Himilaya. Get swept away by a tornado *wind*. Take down some outlaws *old style gun shots*. Slay a mighty dragon *fire breathing*. Become an astronaut in space. Relax in the Caribbean. Get lost in the Quadrangle.
