  1. PHOENIX MAGAZINE From the embers arises the fresh and contemporary new music magazine ‘Phoenix’. A magazine that lies at the heart of emerging bands and young talent, Phoenix will ensure we are consistently appealing to our range of readers. From the younger teenage readers who are finding their feet in the music they are interested in, bands they like, who are generally more open to different styles of new up and coming music, to the readers who are devoted to keeping up-to-date with budding new talent. Each issue will include a variety of cutting-edge and independent bands, on their journey into our world of music. ‘Phoenix’, the unprecedented magazine, was born to discover your favourite new bands and the latest original music for you before the rest of the world does. Why wait?

  2. Tiger-Lily and her twin brother Alfie, 19, share a lot of interests. They have a wide group of friends together, surf, skate, go to friend’s gig’s, festivals. Tiger is into photography, Alfie aspires to become a music journalist. Tiger-Lily is a pretty wild gal; adventurous, bold and head-strong. Alfie is confident, easy-going, yet strongly opinionated in his taste of music. They’ve always bonded over a love of music as a central point of their lifestyle and they share a growing base of music, contributed to by none other than their ultimate music magazine PHOENIX, uncovering talent that will become a part of their day-to-day lives.

  3. S T I R I T U P • ‘STIR IT UP’ appeals to an audience that appreciates the beauty that is reggae as part of their day-to-day lives, whatever ethnicity, religion or culture they may be from. • The magazine focuses on a variety of different reggae bands from all over the world, both well-known and obscure. • Not only does it include interviews with reggae artists, information about gigs, tribute bands, features on iconic reggae legends, but also concentrates on reggae remixes of popular songs from the past and present. In this sense it ‘stirs up’ different genres of music to form recognized music with chilla reggae beats.

  4. Tom is 20. He lives and breathes reggae. He’s a pretty laid-out guy and likes to have his m8s back to hang. Reggae is evidently always playing in the background, essential in setting the relaxed atmosphere that it brings. His icons are Bob Marley, Toots and the Maytals, Richie Spice, Peter Tosh, Damian Marley, Marlon Asher, Lauryn Hill, Collie Buddz and People Under The Stairs. He’s a dj in his spare time and above all enjoys mixing reggae with other kinds of music; he mixes at Notting Hill Carnival every summer.
