Patients with anovulation or luteal phase insufficiency may benefit from progesterone treatment. Pregnancy Test A serum ovulation test is normally done 12-14 days a?er the embryo transfer. If the results are positive, weʼll check your serum cholesterol level and advise you to keep taking progesterone for a few more weeks.
