These celebrations provide the LGBTQ+ community and its allies an opportunity to come together, raise awareness for equality, and show support for LGBTQ+ rights. • The rainbow flag, representing the LGBTQ+ community, is colorful and symbolizes life, healing, sunshine, nature, harmony, and spirit. It is flown with pride and signifies the desire for a better life that is equal, fair, and free from discrimination in all areas, including the ability to have children in the world. 2

It aspires to influence policies, laws, and social attitudes to ensure equal rights and opportunities for everyone.
