  1. Scrapbook Program for Adults Thursday, May 2nd 11:00 a.m. We will be creating the pages for April at this program. Each month you will create two scrapbook pages. If you attend each month, you will have an entire scrapbook by the end of the year. Supplies are provided. All library programs are free to the public. Please call the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library at 859-234-4881 to register for this program. Pre-registration is required.

  2. Painted Wooden Recipe Box Tuesday, May 7th at 5:00 p.m. or Thursday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. Please call the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library at 859-234-4881 to register for this program. Recipes boxes, paint and some embellishments will be provided. Pre-registration is required. All library programs are free to the public. This program is for adults.

Card Making Program For Adults Tuesday, May 14th at 5:00 p.m or Thursday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. During this program, you will create a greeting card and learn how easy and inexpensive it is to create your own cards for any occasion. Please call the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library at 859-234-4881 to register for this program. Pre-registration is required.

  4. Bingo For Adults Thursday, May 16th 11:00 a.m. Adults can play Bingo at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Prizes will be household items. Space is limited. Pre-registration is not required.

  5. Saturday, May 18th @ Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library 10 am to 2 pm Bounce Houses, Cotton Candy, Popcorn and FUN!!! Summer Reading Kick Off FREE!!!!All Ages!

Adult Summer Reading Program Registration Begins Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20th Bingo, Scrapbooking, Healthy Choices For Every Body, Cooking Through The Calendar, and Book Groups will continue in June and July. Healthy Choices For Every Body Monday, May 20th 10:00 a.m. Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library Stacey Ashbrook, Nutrition Education Program Assistant from UK Harrison County Extension Office, will show you simple solutions to help you eat better for less. The program will include hands-on activities, cooking demonstrations, recipe cards, small group discussions, practical information, handouts, newsletters, and much more. Call 859-234-4881 to register.

  8. Cooking Through The Calendar Tuesday, May 21st 5:00 p.m. Stacey Ashbrook, Nutrition Education Program Assistant from UK Harrison County Extension Office, will prepare a new recipe each month. She will provide you with tips so you can develop healthy eating habits. Call the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library at 859-234-4881 to register.

  9. Kentucky Blood Center Blood Drive Wednesday, May 22nd 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Cynthiana-Harrison Co. Public Library Community Room When you donate with the Kentucky Blood Center, you are a hero to a local patient. Call the blood center to schedule your donation time at 1-800-775-2522.

  10. Women’s Discussion Book Group Thursday, May 23rd 6:00 p.m. Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library Do you like to read? JOIN OUR BOOK GROUPS! Earn free books! Meet new friends! Pick up your copy at the circulation desk after April 25th .
