  4. From the Beginning • Born and bred in Keene, NY. • Never heard of it? • No one else has either! • Valedictorian of KCS Class of 1994 • Class of ten people! • 1st time statistics worked in my favor!

  5. The College Years • Rochester Institute of Technology • BS Degree in Applied Statistics • Had never taken a Stats class before • Had never had upper level math • Graduated in 1998 • Met Sukru on my way out • That’s my luck for you!

The Adventures • Sukru aims to broaden a small town girl’s horizon’s. • Snowboarding in Switzerland • Visiting relatives in Germany • Three trips to Turkey • Ever seen an earthquake up close and personal? • The South is THE place to relax with the ‘rents! • You haven’t lived until you’ve seen a country wedding!

  7. The Non-Studying Years • Got a job with a Boston research group • Grant funding ran out 6 months after the move • Back to Rochester – Back to Sukru • No more phone bill! • Howard M. Proskin & Associates, Inc. • The NICEST boss you’d ever find! • Sukru graduated in 2000 • My turn for school again!
