  2. Software Engineering • Software engineering is software engineering, its pretty straight forward.

  3. Software engineers • Software engineer’s do different things depending on your interest. It can range from programming to software development. Other things software engineers do are solve programming problems, as in glitches in software. Every job has constraints and guide lines, for software engineers is mostly cost issues.

Training required • A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematicsorcompletion of a college program in computer science is usually required. • Approved engineering drawings and reports and to practice as professional engineer • Graduation from an accredited educational program, three or four years of supervised work experience in engineering and passing a professional practice examination • Experience

  5. Schools/colleges/universities • UBC, is a main candidate to in the lower mainland • SFU-Surrey also has computing science as an applicable course

  8. Why a software engineer • I have a really interest in engineering and so I had a option between software and hardware engineering. I felt hardware engineering would be like designing hardware, which would be extremely boring, so I chose software engineering. What peaked my interest?….Hmm I would say my interest in wanting to program.
