  1. 1 Peter 4:7-10 “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins." Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (NKJV).

  2. STEWARDSHIP(1 Peter 4:7-10) I. A Steward is Owned By a Master. • We are God’s by creation (Gen. 2:7). • We are God’s by right of redemption (1 Cor. 6:19-20; Eph. 1:7). • We are God’s by providential provision (Acts 14:15-17; 17:25, 28).

  3. STEWARDSHIP(1 Peter 4:7-10) II. A Steward Has Goods Committed to His Charge. What Is Entrusted to Christians? • Time (James 4:13-15). • Abilities (Deut. 8:11, 14, 17-18; James. 1:17). • Resources - Physical and Spiritual. (Matt. 25:14-30; 1 Cor. 4:1; Titus 1:9).

  4. STEWARDSHIP(1 Peter 4:7-10) III. A Steward Has the Responsibility to Serve. • Make the Master our Top Priority (Matt. 10:37-39; Acts 5:29). • With Faithfulness (1 Cor. 4:1-5; Rev. 2:9-10). • With Obedience (Deut. 10:12-13; 11:26-28; Matt. 7:21).

  5. Luke 12:42-46 “And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has...”

  6. Luke 12:42-46 “…But if that servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.”
