~Introduction Have you ever been eating Skittles and ate a lot of one flavor? Have you wanted more of one flavor before? This experiment will help you know what color/ flavor is used more in Skittles. Andi Dowell
~Problem What color/ flavor shows up most in the Skittles Original? Andi Dowell
~Hypothesis My hypothesis is that strawberry or the red color will show up more than the other colors/ flavors. Andi Dowell
~Materials • A minimum of 10 bags of Skittles • Pen • Paper Andi Dowell
~Procedure • Gather all Materials • Count all the green Skittles • Count all the red Skittles • Count all the orange Skittles • Count all the purple Skittles • Count all the yellow Skittles • Write the results down • Continue with the other bags Andi Dowell
~Results (Out of 10 bags) • Red- 113- 18.9% • Yellow- 143- 23.9% • Green- 112- 18.8% • Orange- 113- 18.9% • Purple- 115- 19.3% • Total- 596 Andi Dowell
~Conclusion My hypothesis was really wrong. I was really surprised about how the results came out. Almost everyone I surveyed thought that red was the most. Surprisingly, yellow has about 30 more than everything else. Andi Dowell
