  1. CLAT Syllabus 2019 If you have dream to pursue career in the field Law and want to enter into the judiciary section of the country then you may have heard about CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), if you haven’t them let’s give you a brief idea about this examination. This entrance exam gives you the opportunity to be part of one of the 19 premier law colleges across India and helps you to fulfill your dream by becoming a part of 3 year and 5 year program of integrated LLB and LLM respectively. The score attained in CLAT is accepted by other 43 institutes and 2 public sector institutes. The exam is organized by one of the 19 Nations Law Universities (NLUs) every year. These universities are derived their affiliation from Bar Council of India. The syllabus for CLAT exam 2019 contains most of the topics related to English, general knowledge, current affairs, Mathematic (basic). Further if the topics are bifurcated based on the subject one is going to select then it would be as following: For LLM: The topics are more inclined towards constitutional law, jurisprudence and other law subjects which over all carries 150 questions For LLB : The topics are more commonly related to English comprehension, Current affairs, general knowledge, mathematics, Aptitude and reasoning with a total of 120 questions. The syllabuses are given in details with respect to each topic which will be asked in CLAT Exam 2019: English The 40 questions are meant to test candidate’s English proficiency which further divided into Vocabulary, Grammar and comprehension. Topics: Synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, word definition, analogies, idiom and phrases, one- word substitution ,sentence improvement& rearrangement, fill in the blanks, subject verb agreement, noun/article, conjunction, correct spelling, spotting errors. Mathematics The mathematics is completely elementary basis which one would have learned till 10th standard. Topics: Mensuration (area, volumes), Commercial Mathematics(Interest, profit, los, discount, percentage, partnership), Modern Mathematics (Permutation& combination probability, clocks and calendars), Data Interpretation( graphs, charts), Arithmetic( Number system, H.C.F and L.C.M, simplification, logarithms, fractions and decimals, root and indices) General Awareness

  2. The paper contains approx 50 questions related to current affair and general knowledge.
