Back Story • Dr. Jarrod Coffee creates “Zync X” to cure the common cold • Results in causing people to become mindless zombies • 91% of the world’s population is gone • Humans are scattered across the planet • Five safe zones for humans • Oregon • Naval Ships at sea • Antarctica • Moscow • Tibet • Jarrod Coffee working on cure for the disease as he narrates his survival guide

  3. Guideline One: Clean Water • Leading causes of death during the outbreak • Dehydration • Disease • Necessary to get clean water to avoid dehydration and possible illness from contaminated water • Several ways to get clean water • Boil it • Find unopened bottle water • Freshwater springs

  4. Guideline Two: Defending yourself • Get an efficient weapon • Easy to carry • Quiet • Useful at a distance or up close • Multi-use • Have multiple weapons • Never know which one comes in use in which situation • If one breaks, is lost, or stolen

Guideline Three: Avoid large cities • Large cities = large population • With 91% of people becoming infected, that means 91% of a major city is now “zombified”. • Too risky to run into zombies • Very likely you’ll run into zombies • Rule of ‘threes’ in survival • Basic human survival revolves around the number three • Three minutes without air • Three hours without shelter • Three days without water • Three week without food • New one that applies to Zombies: three seconds In a large city.

  6. Guideline Four: Never settle in one place • Zombies have an instinct to eat • When no source of food is left, they move on • They keep moving, you keep moving • Settling in one place leads to relaxation • Causes you to let your guard done • Ultimately leads to your death

  7. Final Guideline: Never assume you’re alone • Causes you to let your guard down • Leads to death • Losing good from bandits • Chances are with 91% of the world infected you aren’t alone • “Better to be safe than sorry”
