Answer for Q. 1 • Hospital Isolation (Recommendation to IP) • Standard precautions and droplet precautions are in place for 5 days after effective antibiotic initiation • All healthcare workers(HCW) should observe standard precautions and wear a respiratory mask when examining a patient with a cough illness suspected or confirmed to be pertussis. • Exposed, unprotected people should be given PEP promptly, and immunization when indicated. • Exclude symptomatic HCW from work for at least the first 5 days of the recommended antibiotic or 21 days from onset of cough (if object to or cannot take A/B)
