Eligibility Requirements • U.S. or Naturalized Citizen • 17 years old by September 1st of Freshman Year • No older than 23 years old by June 30th • Graduate High School By August 1st • Apply and be accepted to NROTC host schools • SAT/ACT Minimum Scores: • SAT: 530 Verbal & 520 Math • ACT: 22 English & 22 Math • OR: TOP 10% OF SENIOR CLASS
Take Your SAT/ ACT as often as possible. Don’t wait until it is too late to take your SAT/ACT. The sooner you get competitive SAT grades, the more screenings you get at selection boards.
Physical Requirements • Students do NOT need to pass physical requirements to apply • Upon receipt of scholarship, you will be directed to take Department of Defense medical physical examination
Military Service Requirements • Commissioned as Ensigns upon graduation • Do NOT have to go through Boot Camp • Four Years of active duty service in your field four years inactive.
