Heart & Lung Endurance • Endurance is your ability to engage in vigorous activity over time without tiring too quickly or easily. • Heart and Lung Endurance refers to how effectively your heart and lungs work when you exercise and how quickly they return to normal when you stop.
How Can I Increase My Heart & Lung Endurance? • By exercising in a moderate to vigorous activity for at least 20 to 30 minutes, four to five times per week. • What are some activities that will increase my heart and lung endurance? • Running • Swimming • Cycling • Brisk Walking

Three Basic Strength Exercises • Push-ups builds muscles in arms and back. • Curl-ups builds muscle in your abdomen. • Step-ups builds muscle in your legs.

Body Composition • Body Composition is the ratio of body fat to lean tissue, such as bone, muscle, and fluid. • Body composition tells us if we are carrying to much fat.
Flexibility • Flexibility is the ability of your body’s joints to move easily through a full range of motion. • You can improve your flexibilitythrough regular stretching.
