If We Had Lunch at the White House Original Poem By Kalli Dakos
If we were invited To the White House for lunch,
Brian wouldn’t be able To steal Lolane’s chips. And Karen couldn’t squish up Her milk carton, After she blew bubbles into her milk,
And Seth couldn’t crawl under the table, Chasing his lost pistachio nuts, And Annie couldn’t say Her spanish rice tasted so yucky
Sometimes we think about Eating lunch at the White House
And never take a bite --Not even a tasting bite --Until everyone has been served.
