  2. Background • Graduated Mercer University in 2007 with a BS in Industrial Management • Currently Employed at the Medical Center of Central Georgia • Current title- Industrial Engineer

  3. Important Classes “Every class plays a role in how I perform my job—even marketing” • Quality Management • Operations Management • Accounting • Finance • Technical Communication

  4. Co-op and additional Degree • Participated in a Co-op for two years at the Medical Center • Will soon graduate from Mercer Business with an MBA

  5. Transition

  6. Typical Work Day • Arrive at 7:30 • Spend about an hour answering e-mails and returning phone calls • Spend the next few hours working on projects/tasks • One Hour lunch • Go around hospital and conduct inspections and meet with employees about problems • Participates in about 3-4 committee meetings a week

  7. “I am working on several green projects for the organization. Among the projects I have championed are the installation of energy efficient lamps and ballasts and the installation of a high-efficiency irrigation system to name a few.” Current Goals Within the Organization

  8. The Future… • He sees himself promoted to a director level position within the Medical Center • Overall goal is to become a Hospital Administrator, so he intends to amass experience at the Med Center.
