Kids this is not candy! The most commonly abused prescription drugs are: Opiods-used to treat pain example include morpine codeine and oxycodone. Central nervous system depressants-used to treat anxiety and sleep disorders example include barbiturate and benzodiazepines. Stimulants-used to treat narcolepsy and attention defiction hyperactivity disorder examples include dextroamphetamine and methylphenidate.
Kids these are not play toys nooo!! • The reason people become addiction to prescription drugs, and begin to take them in a harmful and non-prescribed manner are largely unknown. • There is evidence that genetic factors may play a part. • Anxiety derpeeionlonelines and a history of alcohlism are often associated with addiction.
