Hours of Operation • 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM • Before and after school use permitted with a pass. • Lunch use permitted with a pass. • Request a permanent pass at the circulation desk.
POLICIES • Check-out Time Limitations • Books -- 2 weeks • Periodicals -- 1 week • No fines for overdue materials • Lost books and damaged items are charged. • Unless accompanied by a teacher, you MUST have an official pass. Slips of paper will not be accepted.

Books, Books, Books • Automation System Dallink is the library automation system. It is available on all computers and should be used as your first source for materials. Check with a librarian for instruction in its use. http://library.dallasisd.org
Making sense of Dewey... • The Dewey Decimal System was created by Melvil Dewey. It is the number/letter designation that places books in subject order for easy access. The Dewey system divides books into fiction and nonfiction. 629.22 RAL Location on shelf Author’s Name
