23. Teaching Philosophy • Kindergarten is an exciting and special time for a child. It is a child’s first exposure to elementary school. • I strive to create a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for my students in a classroom community that creates friendships and values all student backgrounds, beliefs, cultures and experiences. • By setting up the classroom in a very organized and structured manner, students can succeed and feel comfortable in an environment where they can easily manage their learning tools and resources.

24. …. • Classroom rules are simple and child-friendly: be safe, be responsible, be respectful. • The behavior management system that is implemented provides students the opportunity to recognize their mistakes and learn from them.
