The Basics – Non-Medical • Dental – Delta Dental • No plan changes • Small increase • Vision – NVA (National Vision Association) • No plan changes • Small increase (first in 4 years)
Health Care Reform 1/1/2013 Eight new prevention-related women’s health services covered with no cost-sharing • Breastfeeding comprehensive support and counseling • Contraception: FDA approved contraceptive methods • Domestic and interpersonal violence screening and counseling • Gestational diabetes screening for women 24 to 28 weeks pregnant and those at high risk • HIV screening and counseling • HPV DNA Testing • STI counseling • Well-women visits to obtain recommended preventive services for women under 65 http://www.healthcare.gov/
IRS Spending Changes 2013 • Flexible Spending annual maximum changed to $2,500 per family from $5,000 • Health Savings Accounts: • Increases to $3,250 for employee only (up $150 from 2012) • Increases to $6,450 for family coverage (up $200 from 2012) http://www.irs.gov/irb/2012-26_IRB/ar09.html
