  2. Who Is Aldo Leopold? • A scientist, philosopher, and writer • Known to many as the “father of wildlife”. • Wrote the book A Sand County Almanac. • Also wrote Game Management • Taught at University of Wisconsin

What did he do? • Some say his writing inspired what it means to live peacefully along side nature. • He explained that the same techniques used to interrupt the natural landscape, can also be the same things to help manage and protect them • His book, Game Management, outlined the basic structure and formed the skills to protect, revive, and manage the population of the wilderness.
