What This Timeline Means • The amount of time to complete a unit is an estimate. It is based on the following assumptions: • The student has learned the lesson the night before (watched videos, PowerPoint presentations, read websites, listened to podcasts). • The student has notes on the content. • The student works steadily while in class.
What Happens If You Take Too Long? • Your mileage may vary. For example, it may take you 5 days to complete the Verbs unit. That’s okay, but you’ll need to make up the time elsewhere. • However, if you take 2 days or more on a unit, you will receive low progress grades if 2 or more of the following are evident. • Your exercise scores are low • There are no video notes • You keep forgetting/don’t have • You’re only completing an exercise per day • You haven’t asked me for help
