Concerns • Lack of existing infrastructure (but more bikes will put pressure on city to build, what came first the chicken or the egg…) • Car-centric mentality • Current model of bike share (simple, heavy duty-durable) and what this means for adding additional weight/precarious attachments • Just how many pieces make sense? • Additional space required for new equipment stations • Concern of solution to “American” problem of obesity/fitness being pushed onto a European city • Safety • The ease of retrofitting – making sure the process is not cumbersome and underutilized because it requires too much additional effort.
