Shanghai • Shanghai is China’s biggest city • Shanghai is the 8th largest city in the world • In 1554, a city wall was built to protect Shanghai from Japanese pirates • Shanghai was the first Chinas city to implement a 9 year mandatory education • Shanghai has the worlds largest container port

  5. Hong Kong • Hong Kong was built on an island. • Hong Kong was part of England until the 1800’s • China got HongKong back in 1997
