  3. Kick off Question: (what do YOU think) Why does the moon rise and set at different time throughout the month?

  4. Astronomy Outside Activity • Once per trimester you will be required to do attend some astronomical event, be it a star party, going to an observatory, going to a planetarium, observing from your own telescope at home, etc. You will be required to write a one page paper on what you did: where you went, what you learned, who was the speaker and turn it in for 50 points.

  5. Learning log If you see more or the moon each night is the moon waxing or waning?
