Apron • Area in front of the main curtain. • Used for bows • Also can be used for performances in between set changes • The width of each apron varies between theaters.
Wings • Off stage • Used during a rehearsal or performance • Sides of stage • Hidden by the “legs”
Legs • Smaller curtains on the sides of the stage • Used to hide backstage • Create Depth
Cyclorama • Back wall area of the stage • Curtain hides unit set pieces
