  1. Planet Nitrogenus

  2. How Planet Nitrogenus Works • Revolves around the usage and conversion of nitrogen gas • Nitrogen gas comes from plant’s core • Planet is dark and has no light energy fueling it

  3. Where does the nitrogen come from? • There is carbon and nitrogen based sedentary rock • As the core heats up the rock is melted • This releases the nitrogen gas • The gas is released through thermal vents and the water then becomes nitrogen rich

  4. Organisms on Planet Nitrogenus • Converters = take nitrogen and H20 and convert it to productose through a process called thermalsynthesis • Productose = Complex Sugar • Thermalsynthesis =When nitrogen is released through these vents the temperature of the water increases since the nitrogen is coming from the burning core. When these converters sense heat they have large mouths that open up and take in nitrogen and water.

  5. Organisms on Planet Nitrogenus • Single-Cellular Organisms (first level consumers) = Feed off the converters they live solely off the productose, converting the sugar into energy for simple functions of the organisms. • This process is called Cellular Conversion

  6. Organisms on Planet Nitrogenus • Multi-Cellular Consumers = feed off of either the converters or first level consumers. • Do not operate very differently from single-cellualar consumers and also utilize cellular conversion • The unique attributes of the multi-cellular consumers are the complexity of their bodies, as they have functionelles • Functionelles = groups of cells that serve specific functions for the organism • Have few functionelles, the main one is the stomach which has the ability to break a single-celled consumer down into productose and waste, which allows them to convert the organism into energy

  7. Organisms on Planet Nitrogenus • Decomposers and Consumers = When a consumer dies, Decomposers feed of the body • Decomposers are multi-cellular and have a process of utilizing productose from the body. The rest of the body is then turned into waste and deposited as a nitrogen-based substance, which rapidly solidifies into the sedentary rock • The process is then started over again once that rock is melted in the planet’s core

  8. Hierarchy On Planet Nitrogenus • 1st Level = The Cell, millions of cells can make up a converter, and every animal is comprised of one or many cells. • 2nd level = Functionelles, which are groups of cells that all work together to serve a purpose, such as breaking down organisms into productose and waste so the body can use them efficiently • 3rd Level =Organisms, same as on planet earth • 4th Level = Schools, Groups of organisms that live and survive off of the same thermals • 5th Level = Ecosystem, which is comprised of a school of organisms along with the vents and water as well

  9. Reproduction on Planet Nitrogenus • Multi-Cellular organisms can reproduce sexually • Converters have a section of their body that will spawn off when it reaches a certain age, this spawns turns into a separate plant with identical DNA as its partner converter • Single Cellular Consumers go thorough about four cycles of fission in its life and divides the same way that cells divide on earth
