  4. The Assignment • Setting up the assignment: • Brief and grading criteria • Ethics • External • Supporting the assignment • Class time • Research - students are representing the university so must behave appropriately • Galleria contacts

  5. The Exhibition • Planning: dates, times, space, equipment • Implementation: logistics, setting up, running, taking down. • Assessment and feedback: involvement of centre manager and operations manager. Grades, prizes and recognition.

  6. Lessons Learnt • More involvement early on of Galleria – talk to students • More written feedback to students • Benefits to students • Value of entrepreneurship skills • Application of learning in real setting (WBL) • Employability

Checklist • Early contact • Local organisations • Initial meeting – think about your assessment requirements and the students requirements for information and research opportunities • Assignment brief, grading criteria and feedback form (makes feedback quicker and easier) • Ethics • Student support • Planning and logistics of any related event –start early and get help
