Required Courses • 90 Semester Hours (B.A. or B.S. degree is not required) • Science Courses: • Biological Sciences with Laboratory – 8-12 Sem. Hrs. Should include Zoology or Animal Biology (minimum 2 semesters), Genetics, Microbiology • Chemistry with Laboratory – 16-24 Sem. Hrs. [General and Organic] • Physics with Laboratory – 8 Sem. Hrs. • Non-Science: • English/Communication Skills - 6 Sem. Hrs. [1 year]Mathematics- 6-8 Sem. Hrs. • Anatomy, Biochemistry, Embryology, Histology, Microbiology, and Physiology are highly recommended
DAT • Biology • General Chemistry • Organic Chemistry • Reading Comprehension • Quantitative Reasoning • Perceptual Ability • Scoring: • 0-30 • Average is ~15 • 19 or above is very competitive • Some schools (UF) requires at least 15 in each section

AS MANY AS YOU CAN! • Some subsections: embryology, genetics, molecular biology, immunology, endocrinology, neuroscience, cellular respiration, nutrition, ecology, classification, stoichiometry, electronic structure, bonding, phases/phase changes, colligative properties, acids and bases, equilibrium, kinetics, nuclear reactions, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, nomenclature, molecular structure, synthesis reactions, oxygen and nitrogen compounds, biochemistry, algebra, geometry, word problems, trigonometry, and many more…………
