Beaches Opening Day Parade Mother’s Day Rose Sale All orders must be in today. Roses will be distributed to members on May 6. The price is $15/dozen. Thank Max Booke and John Bates for putting this project together for us. Robin Giddens-Sheppard spoke to us last week about the funereal business. She is in a unique position having been born into the death business. It was interesting to hear about the different choices people are making for their final repose. One surprise was learning that there are some regional variations in the way funerals are done from the west side to the east side of Jacksonville. Robin says that Hardage-Giddens is willing to do what they can to arrange what ever king of funeral you may want. I wonder if they could find a coffin big enough to plant Herman with his motorcycle. -Butch Shadwell Division Council Meeting Meeting scheduled for May 20. More later from Ed Zazzarino.
