Installation Dictionary • Infrastructure(power, cables, pipes, Ethernet, services…) • Installation: • Delivery of 100% tested racks to Points • Fixation of racks in final position • Support Team (component replacement, etc) • Piping work: • Cabling work:Experiments do Inter-Area cabling, connectors included (ATLAS do not do connectors). Detailed AnalysisAssumptions for Inter-Rack Cabling Work • We (Patrick & I) have taken into account: • that cables are installed with connectors at one or two ends • Lab-tests & estimates for cables inter-areas • for the final figures, we add a 20% contingency Typical Figures: Single-Path System ~ 0.5 days Closed-Loop System ~ 1.5 days Mar CAPEANS
