  3. Geographical location • Ancient Ghana is located on the continent of Africa. • It is near the Ivory Coast.

  4. Ancient Ghana’s money system • The people of Ancient Ghana traded goods. • They had the richest gold mines on earth. • The people sold slaves, salt, and copper.

  6. ANCIENT GHANA’S RELIGION • The ancient Ghana’s religion was Christianity and Islamic.

  7. ROLE OF WOMEN • The role of women in ancient Ghana were to make babies, to sell fish, and to farm. • The role of child-bearing was believed as a means for ancestors to be reborn.

  8. Art , music , literature Northern Ghana literary influences came from Islam whereas, the south was influenced by Christianity.

  9. Ancient Ghana’s Government • Ancient Ghana’s government was a constitutional democracy which means that the laws in which the people had to follow was designed as a constitution.
