It�s a �hands on� approach where employees are required to: Work as part of a casing running crew � both running & pulling casing Identify & understand hazards and hazard control measures during casing operations Conduct pre & post inspections of equipment as well as operational inspections Conduct JSAs for casing running operations Demonstrate competency in: the correct setting of casing slips correct stabbing procedures on the stabbing board and rig floor correct operation of a power tong (both torque gauge makeup and computer makeup) correct single-joint and side-door elevator operations correct use of a utility winch
