Calibration of BTV beam position vs. kicker voltage, all TI 8 screens • Two best screens: BTV813 and BTV876

Conclusions • BTVs provide very precise measurement of kick waveform • The kick used for LHC beams is just within the spec of 1 % ripple • For LHC operation the MKE4 kick should be made longer, similar to CNGS, and the last part of the kick to be used after further measurements • Reduce ripple seen by the beam • Less stress on the clipper switch
