Bilk • to cheat or trick (a person or organization) especially by taking money. • Their was a bully in kindergarten who always tried to bilk the other kids out of money.
Nuance • a very small difference in color, tone, meaning, etc. • a subtle quality • He listened to the subtle nuances in the song.
Renown • fame • The 20 year old had gained renown from his youtube channel.
Tangent • going off the main subject • In the middle of her description of her dog's symptoms, she went off on a tangent about its cute behavior
Tardy • slow in moving, acting, or happening • late • She does not have an alarm so ends up being tardy to school all of the time!
Hasten • to move or act quickly • We must hasten our pace if we want to everything done before class is over.
