WSJ Article – “Nestle's Lost Sweet Spot” • Why was it good for Nestle to be among the first foreign companies to do business in China? • What happened when more competitors came in to China? What types of competitors were there? • As a large multinational corporation Nestle has advantages when competing with small, local entrepreneurs. What are these? • As a large multinational corporation Nestle has disadvantages when competing with small local entrepreneurs. What are these? • Don’t just look within the article for the answers. Think about other business examples to come up with ideas.
