Project Plan • 1st Semester • Spent most of the time learning • Cognitive Radio, USRP, GNURadio, Linux, Python • 2nd Semester • Develop sensing program • Research sensing parameters • Key USRP Concepts • ADC rate (64MHz) -> decimation (20) -> quad rate (3.2MHz) -> sample size (32bits/sample) -> bps rate (102.4Mbits/second) -> byte rate (12.8Mbytes/second) • 12.8 MB/s is less than 32 MB/sec supported by USB
