If you were to stretch a piece of string all the way around the earth it would be ‘ X’ meters long. If you then take another piece of string, raise it up 1 meter off the ground and stretch it around the world it will be ‘Y’ meters long. How much longer would string ‘Y’ be than string ‘X’?.
