Made to last • The box is made of polypropylene • It’s rigid, reliable and will not crack • Tests have shown that it will keep its shape and full function up to 60°C and down to -25°C.
Multifix Plus 2– the safest choice for hollow walls • Multifix Plus 2 meets all requirements of the GOST and EN IEC 60670-1 standards • Multifix Plus 2 is flame-proof, thus preventing the risk of fire caused by short-circuits • 850°C glow-wire tested.
Multifix Plus 2– a thoroughly tested installation box The glow wire test The glow wire test means that the box must endure +850°C and that flames should go out within 30 seconds. Sturdy knock-outs The knock-outs have been tested at +60°C and -25°C. They must be easy to open in all temperatures without causing any sharp edges. Pull-out force Wall-mounted fixing devices, including the apparatus screws, must withstand the pull-out force of 100 Newton. Pressure test The ball pressure test at +70°C shows how robust the box is. The impression must never be more than 2 millimetres after one hour. Torque-resistance The fixing devices of the box must withstand a mechanical torque of three Newtonmetres

Fixing claws with multiple functions • The sharpened claw creates a firm grip in hollow board walls • The construction provides reversibility • If the installation must be adjusted, you can easily remove the box and re-use it, without damaging the wall • The claws are made of steel.
Fast and clever screws • The screws are “high-speed”,i.e. triple-threaded • This will make the assembly three times faster • Suitable for power tools.

IP is short for the International Protection rating, according to the international standard of IEC 60529. The first digit classifies the degree of protection against intrusion of solid objects (such as hands, fingers and dust) while the second digit describes the protection against liquids. So IP20 means that the Multifix Plus 2 box is protected from intrusion by objects bigger than 12 mm but not against water, which is perfect inside a building.

Two depths • If the wall is thin, choose the small and shallow 45 mm apparatus box • For a thicker wall, or to fit more cables or electronic devices, choose the bigger 60 mm box.

The Multifix Modulo range IP30 – what does it mean? IP is short for the International Protection rating, according to the international standard of IEC 60529. The first digit classifies the degree of protection against intrusion of solid objects (such as hands, fingers and dust) while the second digit describes the protection against liquids. So IP30 means that the Multifix Modulo box is protected from intrusion by objects bigger than 2.5 mm, such as tools, wires, etc, but not against water. This is perfect when plastering the box in a correct position. IP-classification Testing is performed in accordance with IEC 60529 using a water jet. Impact test Impact test is performed at -25°Cwith an impact energy of 1 Joule. Protection against electric shock A mechanical test finger is used to ensure pro-tection against hazar-dous parts according to IEC 60 670-1. Cover removal test Testing is performed to ensure that the cover is easily removable with a tool and impossible to remove by hand.
