  1. Objectives: Describe how toxins and ailments can be minimized. Determine effectiveness of herbal or “natural” cures. Catalyst: What “natural” cures have you heard of using to cure ailments?How effective do you think these cures are?How would you determine the effectiveness of traditional and non-traditional cures?Homework: Research herbal remedy. Summarize locations it is used, traditions surrounding its use, how long the remedy has been used, the purpose, potential side effects. Also, find and print 3 scholarly articles about the remedy.
