2012 Mags&Munchies Program What can an Association do? Earn a rebate! The Rebate will be $0.05 per unit sold (Mags and/or Munchies) if the Association meets all 4 of the following requirements: • Have an active Association Chair (or…Co-Chairs in at least 2 of the 3 Functional Areas: Training, Financial Management, Distribution.) The Association Chair/Co-Chairs must attend Council Training on the evening of August 1 or August 2. If they cannot attend the Council Session they must arrange for a training with a member of the Entrepreneurial Programs Staff or a Council -designated experienced Association Chair prior to August 31. • Give training to Troop Managers. Date(s) of training must be before October 1, and date and place must be sent to Entrepreneurial Programs before September 15. • Must meet the Council due date for all paperwork, data entry and finances. • Must have a Total Unit sales increase of 10% , as per NutE on November 2, 2012, based on the following: • Online Magazine Orders (per detailed order report as of Nov 2, 2012) • Paper QSP Orders • Nut/Snack Orders • Nut/Snack donation orders (@ $5 each) • Magazine Voucher donation orders (@ $5 each) • The increase percent calculation DOES NOT include any online sales recorded after November 1, 2012 or any Booth sales. • The order taking portion of the sale runs from Oct. 1 to Nov. 1. Booth sales start in mid-September and run through mid-November. (Remember that Booth Sales are a great way for Troops to get early funding and provide 15% proceeds to Troops, but will not count towards the Association rebateor Girl Rewards.)
