Support in placementprocess • Databankresearch on a federallevel-„Jobbörse“ in www.arbeitsagentur.de(3,2 Mioprofilesofapplicants, 745.000 vacantjobs, 265.000 vacanttraineeships) • Publicationofvacantjobsandapplicantsprofiles in internet • Preperationandconductionofassessmentcenters in accordancewithemployer • Preparationandconductionofinformationeventswith potential applicants
Measuresforunemployedpersons in general(1) • Salarysubsidies • Aim: enhancejobopportunitiesofunemployedpersonsthatdon’tmatchtherequiredjobprofileforpersonal reasons • Grants: upto 50 % ofsalary • Duration: upto 12 months(upto 36 monthsforpersonsolderthan 50 years) • Specificregulation: employerhastoprolongemploymentforthe same timeasthegrantedperiod • Training course • Aim: enhanceskilllevel in ordertoimprovejobopportunitiesandreducerisksofunemployment (ideallybyobtaining a vocationalcertificate) • Grants: trainingfees, travellingexpenses, expensesforexternalaccomodationandboard, expensesforchildcare, unemploymentbenefitispaidthrough • Specificrequirements: grantisallowedifpersonisunemployedorthreatenedbyunemploymentandlacks a vocationalqualificationorpossesses a vocationalcertificatethatdates back morethan 4 years
Measuresforunemployedpersons in general (2) • Test employment • Aim: employermaytesttheemployeewithouttakinganyriskanddecide on employmentlater • Grants: unemploymentbenefitispaidthrough, travelexpenses • Duration: upto 42 weeks • Start-upgrantforfounders • Aim: finish unemploymentbystarting a business • Grants andduration: unemploymentbenefit (+ 300 €) for6 months, another 9 monthsifbusinessiscarried on intensivelyandfull-time • Specificregulations: founders must beentitledtoat last 150 daysofunemploymentbenefit. Business plan hastobeapprovedby an expert authority (chambers etc.)
Specificmeasuresfordisabledunemployedpersons • Salarysubsidies • Aim: seeabove • Grants: upto 70 % • Duration: upto 24 months(severelydisabledpersonsupto 60 months, olderthan 55 yearsevenupto 96 months) • Test employment • Aim: enhancejoboppportunitiesby a shortemploymentperiodwithoutanyriskfortheemployer • Grant: entiresalary • Duration: 3 months
Specificmeasuresforyoungpersons • Preparatoryvocationaltraining • Aim: youngpersonsthatdidn’tobtain a vocationaltraineeship after leavingschoolget an intensive education in maths, German etc. + shorttermtraineeshipin companies + socialpedagogicalsuppportin ordertostart a fullscaletraineeship • Grants: all fees • Duration: upto 12 months • Additional educationduring a vocationaltraineeship • Aim: helpingyoungtraineeswithschoolproblemsbyeducating in additiontovocationalschool (incl. socialpedagogicalsupport) in orderto finish vocationaltrainingsuccessfully • Grants: all fees • Duration: uptotheentiretraineeship
Specificmeasureforemployedpersons • Training course • Aim: improveskilllevelforlowqualifiedorolderpersonstoavoidunemployment • Grant: feesfortrainingcourse, partiallysalarysubsidies • Duration: trainingcourse • Specificregulations: person must belowskilledorolder (startingfrom 45 years) orunder 45 yearsifthecompanyisan SME (smallormedium sizedenterprise= below250 employees)
